Q. When is the best time to book my family photography session?
A: We recommend booking your family photography session whenever best suits you and your family. Although weekends are a hot commodity, we offer both weekend and weekdays sessions to suit every family. Whether you have an upcoming milestone you wish to celebrate in photographs or this is your families first photography session, were here to help create special memories.
Q. How much does a family photography session cost at Lavender Lane Photography?
A: Our family photography packages start from as low as $500. We give all our clients the option on what package they would like to book in with us.
Unsure of what package to purchase? Not to worry, If you decide after your photography session that you would like to upgrade to the next package, we give the power to you to select your final image count after seeing your viewing gallery.
Q. How long does a family photography session take?
A: Our family sessions go for approximately 1 hour. This allows plenty of time for us to capture your beautiful family across your chosen location as well as switch between different backgrounds. If there are specific family dynamics you wish to capture, we make sure to encapsulate that within your photographs. We never rush our sessions to ensure both you and your family are comfortable and happy throughout.
Q. What should I bring to my family photography session?
A: Please bring:
– Spare changes of clothing for your little ones (They love B-lining straight for the water at our Bribie location)
– a spare towel for the car
– Clothing for yourself, partners, children or family who will be attending. (Please arrive dressed and ready)
– Any special items you’d like included in photos
Q. Where do the family photography sessions take place?
A: We have multiple options for family locations for you to select from depending on your ideal feel and style. We have our Bribie Island location, for a more beachy feel to your session. We also offer a location in North Lakes that showcases golden light through tall wispy grass, And finally we have our Nudgee location, which has a beautiful serene forestry feel with a slight open field for variety.
Q. Can my extended family be included in my photos?
A: Absolutely! We highly recommend getting your family to be apart of your photography sessions, After all, they are family! we love capturing the beautiful dynamics within each family including grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins or the whole crew.
Q. Do you help with posing during the family photography session?
A: Yes! We understand that posing does not come naturally and we are here to help guide and encourage you through your family photography session. We have a bunch of family poses up our sleeves that will make you fall in love with your final gallery that much more. We also take a lot of candid shots such as walking, being playful with your partner and/or your older children, as well as any different family dynamics.
Q. Do you include dogs in family photography sessions?
A: Yes! Although we are limited to either our North lakes and Nudgee locations due to restrictions, We can photograph your pooches. We do have a small questionnaire for you to answer about your pooch, however if you were looking at including your fur babies, please feel free to end us an enquiry.
Q. How many photos will I receive?
A: Each package includes a different number of professionally edited digital images. You’ll have an online gallery to select your favorite images from, and we offer the option to purchase additional images or upgrade your package after viewing.
Q. When will I receive my photos?
A: Your online gallery will be ready for viewing within 2-3 weeks after your session. Once you’ve selected your images, your final edited collection will be delivered within an additional 2-3 weeks.
